The Swallowtail.
This beautiful butterfly, the largest of all, is a fairly common sight in the southern half of the Netherlands. In recent years, more and more reports have also come from the northern half of the Netherlands. The butterfly can be seen in two generations from April to the end of August. The butterfly can only be confused with the King's page, but it is almost never seen in the Netherlands.
